Easter Sunday is upon us! Christ is risen, indeed! This morning we took a few family pictures of the three of us all dressed up, and after church we went to the house of some friends (Dain and Kristen) who had their little girl (Sabine) baptized this morning. Sabine is just a couple of months younger than Corinne, so they are, of course, destined to become great pals!
Many apologies for the blogging hiatus. As it turns out, it was exactly one month ago today that I last gave an update on our lives, mainly on Corinne''s life. Today she is six months old, and I absolutely cannot believe that half of her first year of life is OVER! She is getting to be so big. At her six month appointment today, her length was 27.25 inches in length (above 95%), her weight was 17 lbs 15 oz (86%), and her head circumference was 44.5 in (90%). She definitely has those big and tall genes!
In other news, Corinne and I had a fabulous visit with my mother (a.k.a. Nana) in North Carolina, two weeks ago. We had lots of fun shopping, walking, playing, and just being together. Nana says we girls are going back to visit in June, and then in September, Daddy will come too!! We''re going to be spending Labor Day weekend on the beach at a house we''ve rented in Folly Beach, South Carolina. Corinne already has a swimsuit for the occasion. We can''t wait!
